Police Exercise and Hiring Requirements
The Manchester Twp Police Dept has announced the beginning of testing procedures for establishing a hiring list for Full Time Officers. The initial phase of the testing process will be the Cooper Physical Fitness Test administered by the Manchester Police Dept. Upon successful completion of the physical fitness test, a written exam will be administered by the NJSACOP at a later date.
In order to participate in the testing process, the following requirements must be met:

1. Registration: Must be made in person at the Manchester Police Dept., 1 Colonial Dr., Manchester, NJ and you must have a valid picture ID with you at the time of registration. Applicants will be registered until Wednesday, January 9, 2008 @ 1500.
2. Application: An Employment Application must be filed along with a resume before the January 9, 2008 deadline. If you have an application on file, you should update that application and a resume must be attached.
3. Age: An applicant must be between the ages of 18 and 34 (having not reached their 35th birthday).
4. Fee: A non-refundable registration fee of $75 is required at the time of registration. Payment may be made by cash (exact change only), or money order made out to the Manchester Township Police Department.
No one will be permitted to participate in the Police Physical Fitness Entrance Exam without prior registration. There will be no registrations at the door.
