Full Time Police Officer

MANCHESTER TOWNSHIP POLICE DEPARTMENT, NEW JERSEY is establishing a list for potential hiring of Full-Time Police Officers.

MANCHESTER TOWNSHIP POLICE DEPARTMENT, NEW JERSEY is accepting applications and registering applicants for our Physical Exam starting 8:30 am Monday, December 10, 2007 until 3:00 pm Wednesday, January 9, 2008.

The Physical Exam will be administered on Saturday, January 19, 2008 and Sunday, January 20, 2008.(If Needed)

Testing Requirements:


1.	Register in person at Manchester Police Department.
2.	Submit completed Application and Resume.
3.	Age: Must be between 18 and 34 (not having reached their 35^th birthday) before hire date as Full-Time Officer.
4.	Pay non-refundable fee of $75.00 (Cash or Money Order) at time of registration.

Hiring Requirements:

Proof of U.S. Citizenship and N.J. Residency.

Valid N.J. Driver’s License

Minimum of 64 credits from an accredited institution of higher education as listed in the Accredited Institution of Postsecondary Education published by the American Council of Education.

Class II Special Officer Certification or Basic Police Officer Certification preferred but not required.
